Litjåsen is the only place during the Ski World Championships where you can enjoy Hjertevafla from Røros. Served on a stick, this unique waffle, developed by Anita Galåen and Galåvolden Farm, has a special history and a sustainable profile.
The waffle batter is made of whey, a byproduct from the production of Røros cheese, combined with eggs and milk from the farm and local barley flour from Trøndelag.
AktiVM engaged elementary schools when designing the family area Litjåsen. The students contributed creative ideas for activities and the layout of Snedi’s house.
Litjåsen, then, is a place created by and for children with fun activities that the whole family can enjoy.
