Public Transport, Biking, Skiis or Walking
Public transportation (bus or tram) - or by walking, bike or skiis - are perfectly good ways to get to Granåsen.
Bus or Tram with Regular Bus Routes
If you live at Byåsen, Heimdal, or Tiller, you don't need to go into the city center tog et to Granåsen. During the Ski World Championships, there will be an extended bus service. To get to Granåsen you can use regular public transport with both buses, and trams to get to the venue.
Bus and tram are especially recommended for those who
- Travel from Byåsen, Heimdal, or Tiller
- Are going to the areas around Granåsen
- Are bringing skis or walking
The following stops are within walking distance of Granåsen
- Stavset Senter (line 3 and 11) – 1400 meters walk. See map.
- Alfheimsvingen (line 11) – 1200 meters walk. See map.
- Husebytunet (line 2 and 16) – 2100 meters walk. See map.
- Kolstadhaugen (line 23 and 40) – 1300 meters walk. See map.
- Lian (line 9, tram) – 3200 meters walk (own ski trail to Granåsen). See map.
- (Granåsen Sports Park is only served by the shuttle bus)

Changes to normal bus timetables! There will be some changes to bus and tram departures during the Ski World Cup. For example, some buses will have more frequent departures, and others will have changed routes. See all updated changes on AtB’s website.
Walking, Biking, or Skiing to Granåsen
On foot
If you can walk to Granåsen, it will be the simplest and most efficient option.
By bike
Bicycle parking will be available at Overlege Brattsveg 4C, with access from Nils Uhlin Hansen Veg. From there, it’s just a short distance to Granåsen. All cyclists are asked to avoid cycling on the road to prevent congestion for the shuttle bus, which will run along Byåsenveien.
It is recommended to cycle via Sverresborg, Kyvannet, and Dalgård, then arrive at the bike parking via Nils Uhlins veg. A good route from the city center is Samfundet, Stavnebrua, Bøckmannsveien, up to Dalgård, and then to Nils Uhlins veg.
On skis
For those who want to ski, a ski hotel will be established on the crossroad between the entrance to Arena Granåsen and Litjåsen. Here, skis and poles can be placed while enjoying the Ski World Cup.
Parking at your own risk
Both the ski hotel and bike parking are unstaffed, and use is at your own risk.

Arrival Granåsen
When you arrive at Granåsen, follow the signs to the Nordic World Ski Championships Venue. If you plan to enjoy the championships from the tracks in the forest outside the venues (Sørem), follow the signs towards Granåsen (ski trails network).
Nightbus and tram during WSC
During the World Ski Championships, you can take night buses and tram, making it safe and easy to get home after the celebration!
