Shuttle Bus to Granåsen

The shuttle bus between Trondheim city center and Granåsen is the easiest way to get to the Ski World Championships.

From the city centre

Boarding in Munkegata

The buses go directly to the championship arena from Munkegata (see location on Google Maps) and have frequent departures on competition days.

Ticketing shuttle bus

The shuttle bus requires a valid ticket from AtB. Tickets must be purchased in advance and shown when boarding.

Travel early

Allow plenty of time to get to the championship arena. AtB recommends arriving two hours before you plan to be in Granåsen.

From Byåsen, Tiller or Heimdal

If you travel from Byåsen, Tiller or Heimdal we recommend to take the ordinary public busses to Stavset center (from Byåsen) or Kolstadhaugen (from Tiller/Heimdal). It is also possible to take the tram from the city centre and Byåsen.

How to Buy a Ticket

  • AtB app (bus, tram, shuttle bus, and boat)
  • SMS to 2027 (shuttle bus, bus, and tram in zone A)
  • Physical sales points in Trondheim city center and Granåsen (card and cash)
  • If you already have a multi-day-pass during the WSC on AtB this is also valid for the shuttle bus

The shuttle bus route

There are no stops between Trondheim city centre and Granåsen. The shuttle bus will also take you back quickly and efficiently, with several stop options:

  • Granåsen Idrettspark
  • Tonstadkrysset
  • Lerkendal
  • Nidarosdomen (Trondheim city centre)
