Regional bus lines with additional departures
Some of the regional bus lines will have extra departures and adjustments both morning and evening, adapted to the Ski World Championships and the program.

Car and Parking
It is recommended to travel to Trondheim using public transport. Park-and-ride facilities have been established at the following locations:
- Haakon VIIs gate 25
- EC Dahls Festivaltomt
- Melhus Skysstasjon
It’s first come, first served, and payment is made via the SmartPark-app (only in Norwegian).

Limited Parking
- There is limited parking in Trondheim.
- Parking in the parking garages in Trondheim city center is limited.
- Transportation to and from the Granåsen venue cannot be done by private car.
Airplane
Fly to Trondheim Airport Værnes. The airport is a 30-minute drive outside Trondheim city center, and you can easily travel into the city by both airport bus and train.

Travel to Trondheim by train!
Most routes in Central Norway go directly to Trondheim, with good connections to both buses and the shuttle bus to Granåsen.
This way, you can combine your trip — stay in the UNESCO city Røros and take the train to the Ski World Championships. Or how about staying in the ski paradise Oppdal, just two hours by train from Trondheim?
When you arrive in the city centre
When you arrive at Trondheim S, follow the signs to Munkegata and take the shuttle bus to the championship arena. Read more about the shuttle bus here.

The shuttle bus is direct from the city centre to Granåsen, with four stops on the return.
Public Transport, Biking, Skiis or Walking
Public transportation (bus or tram) - or by walking, bike or skiis - are perfectly good ways to get to Granåsen.

Use the airport express bus or train to Trondheim city center.
