Transportation

We want everyone to have the best possible experience during the championship. Here, you'll find everything you need to know about transportation, parking, and accessibility.
People on the shuttlebus

Remember to allow enough time to get to the arena to ensure you don't miss the competition you want to see.

Travel easily with AtB, Trøndelag’s public transport provider, during the WSC. Download the AtB app to buy bus tickets and see when and where the buses are running – all in one app.

You can find all the information about transport during the WSC on AtB’s website.

Shuttle bus between Trondheim and Granåsen

Travel with the shuttle bus between Trondheim city center (Munkegata) and Granåsen during the World Ski Championship. There will be frequent departures on all competition days, making it easy for you to get to and from the events.

Other bus routes

You can also take regular bus lines or the tram to areas near Granåsen. This is recommended for those traveling from Byåsen, Heimdal, and Tiller if you are heading to the woods by the competition area or bringing your skis.

Train to Trondheim

We recommend traveling to and from the host city in a climate-friendly way by train. Our partners at SJ NORD are working to increase train services to Trondheim during the World Ski Championship, allowing as many people as possible to experience the event. Most SJ NORD routes go to Trondheim, and you can already book your train ticket now through SJ's website.
